CPT Terrance Woolever

Jan 4, 1978
1 min read

Captain Woolever was one of four killed (four survived) when their UH-1 Huey helicopter crashed while on a mission to locate and rescue the five civilians whose Cessna had crashed about 12 hours before.

It was rough terrain in the Great Smoky Mountains and they were with the 326th Medical Battalion out of Fort Campbell.

Capt. Woolever was a division surgeon. (Per KathyLW-#48944508 and Terry's mother he was never a doctor let alone a surgeon--2/14/2016)
